About the Engineer:

Jacob "J-Dog" Hope is the founder and head engineer of Roadie Gear Works Recording Studio. Though mostly known for his involvement in the performing arts scene as a live audio engineer and production manager in Dallas/Fort Worth, he's made a name in the Christian music industry as a professional live and studio session drummer with regional and national artists Bridgette Hammers, JJ Heller, Phil Wickham, Sonicflood, Mia Kohene, and hundreds of churches in the United States. His relentless ability to keep up with today's everchanging trends in Contemporary Christian Music is what keeps him in demand.

In 2016, Jacob founded Roadie Gear Works (RGW) as a custom music instrument accessories brand in Arizona, which would then expand into studio recording during the COVID-19 pandemic. Shortly after graduating with his degree in Recording Engineering from Central Arizona College, Jacob and his family relocated to Texas and then embarked on building RGW's newest and current studio location in Weatherford.

Jacob is available as a session drummer for studio work, church events/services, and instruction. You can use this website's contact form to reach him, or email him directly at JDogTheDrummer@yahoo.com
